It has the title of being IDF Istanbul’s first and only international “Improvisational Dance Festival”. It creates a platform for various stakeholders; It offers event models to a wide target audience, from local and international artists to enthusiasts and students.

IDF collaborates with multiple sponsors and artists locally and internationally. By creating a fascinating and educational program, it allows its stakeholders to meet, discover and define personally and socially. The festival therefore exists not just as an event, but as an experience shared by everyone involved.

IDF believes in freedom of mind and body. It can exist in an environment where there is a libertarian and egalitarian approach. Eradicating any source of shame and prejudice, the IDF aims to create a safe space where one can redefine oneself and teach new ways of thinking through the power of movement.
